What are the MENA Awards?
The MENA Awards have been launched in response to official requests for the Middle East and North Africa region to have its own globally recognised awards campaigns celebrating and promoting best practice in two increasingly important areas: environmental achievement and corporate social responsibility.
The campaigns are being delivered by The Green Organisation and its sister organisation, The Corporate Social Responsibility Society, both of which have been running internationally recognised awards programmes since 1994.
Together, these organisations have established a global reputation for identifying, rewarding and promoting organisations that are making a genuine difference.
The Green Organisation is best known for its International Green Apple Awards for Environmental Best Practice, presented at the Houses of Parliament, Palace of Westminster, London, and the Green World Awards, presented in a different country each year.
The Corporate Social Responsibility Society runs the annual International CSR Excellence Awards, presented at the world-famous St Paul’s Cathedral in London.
Now, the MENA region has its own dedicated awards programmes:
WHERE?
The inaugural MENA Awards presentation ceremony will take place in Dubai early 2027.
The ceremony will celebrate the region’s leading environmental and CSR achievements, bringing together winning organisations from across the MENA region for a prestigious celebration of recognition and international exposure each year.
WHEN?
Entries are now open.
Enter by 30 September 2026 for the Earlybird fee of £250
or
by 31 October 2026
for the £300 Late Entry fee.
HOW?
Choose either the MENA Green Apple Environment Awards, the MENA CSR Excellence Awards,
or both.
There is no limit to entries or awards. The same project can be entered into both campaigns where appropriate, with judges assessing different environmental or CSR outcomes for each campaign.
WHAT CAN YOU WIN?
Every category offers Champion, Gold, Silver and Bronze awards.
The highest-scoring entry becomes MENA Champion of Champions, with winners receiving prestigious trophies, certificates and opportunities for further global recognition.
Your achievement deserves
to be recognised
Winners will be invited to the awards ceremony to receive their trophies and certificates and they will have the opportunity to take their achievements to the next level in the GREEN WORLD AWARDS.
Feature in the world’s only annual reference work on environmental and CSR best practice.
Represent your organisation and country in the Green World Awards.
Next Green World Awards will be presented in Fiji in 2027.
