The MENA Awards have been launched in response to official requests for the Middle East and North Africa region to have its own globally recognised awards campaigns celebrating and promoting best practice in two increasingly important areas: environmental achievement and corporate social responsibility.
The campaigns are being delivered by The Green Organisation and its sister organisation, The Corporate Social Responsibility Society, both of which have been running internationally recognised awards programmes since 1994.
Together, these organisations have established a global reputation for identifying, rewarding and promoting organisations that are making a genuine difference.
The Green Organisation is best known for its International Green Apple Awards for Environmental Best Practice, presented at the Houses of Parliament, Palace of Westminster, London, and the Green World Awards, presented in a different country each year.
The Corporate Social Responsibility Society runs the annual International CSR Excellence Awards, presented at the world-famous St Paul’s Cathedral in London.
