THE COMMONWEALTH
ENVIRONMENT & CSR AWARDS

in partnership with Global Diaspora Village
a parallel event to the
Commonwealth Games 2026 in Glasgow

UNITED IN COMPETITION

What are The Commonwealth 2026 Environment & CSR Awards?

The awards present a unique opportunity for any company in any country in the Commonwealth of Nations to earn global recognition for their environmental endeavours or their Corporate Social Responsibility commitment. Projects do not have to combine both facets as there are two separate sectors – one for the environment and one for CSR – but it is possible for the same project to win trophies in both sectors.

You have FIVE chances to win

In every category in each sector, there are five levels of success …
Commonwealth Champion, Gold winner, Silver winner, Bronze winner, Commended winner.

In keeping with the sporting element of the Commonwealth Games, the awards will be in the form of medals, presented at a special ceremony during the Games. Winners will also automatically progress into the International Green Apple Environment Awards, or the International CSR Excellence Awards (whichever is more appropriate to the entry) with presentation ceremonies in the

Houses of Parliament,
Palace of Westminster, London
and St Paul’s Cathedral, London.

You will also have the opportunity to take your success to the next level and represent your country in the Green World Awards, to be held next year in Fiji.

The Green Organisation

The Green Organisation was set up in 1994 because, although there were various environmental watchdog groups, no-one was recognising and encouraging any of the positive action being taken by the business community.
To fill this void, we introduced the Green Apple Environment Awards.

And for companies and organisations wishing to demonstrate their commitment to environmental improvement, we also invited them to join our Membership scheme.

One of the many membership benefits is our ongoing initiative to plant trees every day of every week in the names of individual companies.

This twin-pronged environmental initiative remains
the cornerstone of The Green Organisation to this day.
